Milton man, 41, dies, passenger badly hurt in crash on Governors Road

MILTON - A Milton man died earlier this month when the vehicle he was operating veered off of Governor's Road and struck a a tree.

The crash occurred on Feb. 3 in the area of 204 Governors Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that had left the right side of the roadway and traveled into the woodline striking a tree.

Officers found that the male operator of the Tahoe, Richard Andujar, 41, of Milton, had been traveling north on Governors Road when the Tahoe left the right-hand side of the road way, traveled into the shoulder and struck a tree.

Andujar was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A passenger in the Tahoe, Krystal Santana, 35, of Milton, was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. She sustained serious injuries from the crash. according to a police statement sent out on Sunday.
