Marshals: Fugitive with ties to southeast NH considered armed and dangerous

The U.S. Marshals New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is looking for the public's help in taking a Cumberland (Maine) County and Brentwood fugitive into custody.
Peter M. Curtis, 34, who has ties to southeastern New Hampshire and is considered armed and dangerous, is being sought on arrest warrants for kidnapping, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and probation violations on a prior narcotics conviction.
Curtis has also been involved in recent high speed pursuits and is alleged to be in possession of a firearm, marshals say.
He has a history of arrests including, assaults, burglaries, drugs, larcenies, and trafficking prison contraband.
Curtis is described as being 5'9" and 210 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
He has a "JAVE" tattoo on his chest and a Cross and Star tattoo on his right ankle among others.
A reward of up to $1,500 has been authorized for information leading his location and arrest.
