LEBANON - Mark J. Doliber Sr., 62, of Lebanon died on Friday, March 27, 2015, at the VA Maine Health Care System in Augusta, Maine.

Mark was born on July 3, 1952 at the Chelsea Naval Hospital in Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl L. Doliber, Jr. and Mary Louise (Boggis) Doliber.

During his youth, Mark was an Army Brat who lived in Japan, Italy and Germany as well as several states in the USA. Mr. Doliber joined the Army at the age of 17 and served from February 2, 1970 to November 3, 1971. Mark was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

In recent years, Mark enjoyed his motorcycle and riding with several of his fellow Veteran friends. He was also an avid stamp and coin collector. Mark was a devoted father; he adored his children and made sure they had what they needed. Throughout his life, Mark possessed a strong work ethic, integrity in his relationship with others and developed a strong spiritual life; respecting and practicing his faith through many cultures and customs.

Mark is survived by his children, Mark J. Doliber, Jr. of Newmarket, N.H.; Samantha Downer of Danville, N.H.; Matthew E. Doliber of Wilsonville, OR; Serena Doliber of Lebanon, Maine and Amanda Perry of Rochester, N.H.; also by his grandchildren, two paternal aunts and several cousins; and by his former wife and friend, Diane Doliber. In addition, Mark is survived by a brother, Dana E. Doliber (Jean) of Sanford, Maine and his sisters, Sandra Campbell (David) of Sanford, Maine; Julie Doliber Ingram (Roy) of Newport, N.C.; and Shelley Moon (Michael) of Laceys Spring, Ala. and many nieces and nephews.
