Man indicted in dissemination of sex images 2 days after accused of assault

DOVER - Two days after a Rochester man was accused of strangling a woman and dragging her alongside his vehicle, he disseminated private sexual images of her while engaged in a sexual act, according to indictments handed down in Strafford Superior Court earlier this month.

Glenn Bushong, 46, of North Main Street, is charged with nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, reckless conduct and second degree assault, all Class B felonies that can draw up to a seven year sentence apiece.

The indictments allege Bushong sent the image that shows her naked and clearly identifiable on April 20, 2021, two days after complaints were drawn up regarding the assault and reckless conduct.

All of the incidents occurred in Rochester, though no specific address for the alleged offenses is indicated in court documents.

The alleged victim, who is only identified by her initials, is also in her 40s,

The most recent Strafford grand jury indictments were handed down on July 14 and released on Friday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant moving forward to trial.
