ROCHESTER - Major (Ret.) Roger Renaud, 95, of Rochester (a former longtime resident of Dover) passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. Roger was born in South Berwick, Maine on May 14, 1919. He graduated from Berwick Academy and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1941. Soon after, Roger was commissioned as an officer and was a decorated combat veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1961 and later worked at Pease Air Force Base as the Post Housing Manager until he retired from civil service in 1985.

Roger was preceded in death by Rose Ellen, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, who passed away in 2005.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Renaud of Kalispell, Montana and David Renaud of Olympia, Washington, his daughter Anne Ouellette of Dover,NH, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and his wonderful caregiver Cheri Cocco of Rochester who cared for him for the past ten years.

Roger was a congregation member of the Emmanuel Church in Rochester.
