MILTON - Lorraine Ellen Eckert, age 80, of White Mountain Highway in Milton, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2014, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born October 11, 1933, in Brookfield, daughter of Daniel H. and Florence E. (Drew) Wilson, she attended Union elementary school and was a graduate of Nute High School, Class of 1951. She was a resident of Union/Milton her entire life.

Lorraine had worked at the former Woolworth's, many local shoe factories and at Spaulding Composites for 30 years.

She was matriarch of the family, enjoying many family gatherings. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and gardening, donating many of the items she made to charity, she also enjoyed music, dancing and traveling.

Survived by her husband of 46 years: Glenn M. Eckert, Jr., son Delbert and wife Connie Littlefield, granddaughter: Sue Littlefield, daughter: Deborah and husband Gerry Soucy, grandson: Shane Caplette, brother: Kenneth Wilson, Sr., sister: Marlene Butler, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers: Daniel Wilson and Lester Wilson.
