ROCHESTER - The Franklin Gallery at Ben Franklin Crafts, 60 Wakefield St., in Rochester, will feature an exhibit called “Bee's Eye View,” featuring works by local photographer Cindy F. Gallant, for the month of April during regular business hours.

Cindy Gallant has had no formal art school background but has dabbled in photography for years. She likes to think of herself as an "Image Chasing Enthusiast."

When she is not working her regular job as a physical therapist assistant at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, she is chasing butterflies, diving a lens into the center of flowers and taking pictures of her family and beloved dog River.

With the encouragement from her family, she recently decided to take a chance display her work at the Round Barn Photo Exhibit in Waterville, Vt. This proved to be a great opportunity and helped to give her a boost to try other venues.
