Lobster Cove specializes in seafood, but the breakfast is pretty good, too

YORK, Maine - The Lobster Cove is a friendly little restaurant that has stunning views of the ocean alongside Long Sands Beach in York.
I had breakfast there last week and was impressed with the service.
Driving by the Lobster Cove through several decades I always suspected it of being overly pricy due to its oceanfront setting, but it wasn't that bad.
Two eggs, with home fries and toast was just $9.
My scrambled eggs were dry and fluffy just the way I like them and my home fries came out extra crispy like I asked for.
The coffee was good and the waitress was very friendly and efficient, looking after me with coffee refills every few minutes.
The only drawback was they had no gluten free toast.
Maybe I'll take my own next time.
