ALFRED, Maine - A Lebanon man has been indicted on several criminal mischief charges, including an aggravated criminal mischief/fire charge, which is a Class C felony punishable by up to five years in state prison.

Dominic Romero, 55, of 78 Smith Road, was also charged with five misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the Oct. 19 incident that occurred in Lebanon.

Maine State Trooper Patrick Hall who investigated the case was not immediately available for comment today. Romero's next court appearance is expected to be in Springvale District Court.

The York County grand jury indictments were handed down on Tuesday and released on Thursday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant moving forward to trial.
