ROCHESTER - Rochester Police say they are getting some leads in Saturday's robbery at Holy Rosary Credit Union, but so far no suspects or persons of interest have been released to the public.

HRCU's main office on Brock Street was robbed by a lone man who entered the bank around 10:35 a.m., handed a teller a note demanding money and fled on foot.

No weapon was ever shown, and police have not indicated whether or not a weapon was mentioned in the note, saying that information couldn't be released while the investigation was ongoing.

"We have received tips, and our detectives are diligently working on these tips," Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said today.

The suspect is described as 5'7" to 5'11", with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

He appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, and was wearing a maroon jacket and red sweatpants, police said.
