SOMERSWORTH - Laura Mae Cauchon, 36, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Asheville, N.C. She was born on May 15, 1988 in Dover and spent her youth in Somersworth.

Mae is survived by her father, Darryl Cauchon and stepmother, Letitia, her three sisters, Dawna Moore and her husband, Scott, Sara Cauchon and her fiance, Josh Bollinger, both of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Emily Cauchon of Somersworth as well as her nephews Nicholas, Jackson and Carson, her grandfathers Leo Cauchon of Dover and Paul Hopkins of Berwick, Maine, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother, Linda (Tsoukalas) Cauchon and her grandmothers, Priscilla Tsoukalas and Jane Cauchon and her aunt, Donna Legacy. She also leaves behind her cherished dachshund, Sheena, who was adopted by her Uncle Dennis following her death.

Mae was especially proud of her service in the Marines. She was an avid cribbage player, motorcycle enthusiast, tattoo aficionado, war history buff and lover of rock and roll music, the Ramones and Sex Pistols in particular.
