ROCHESTER - Katherine Mary Picard, age 64, of Maple Street in Rochester, died January 28, 2015.
Born June 29, 1950, in Rochester, the daughter of William A. Karcher, Jr. and Marian E. (Soucy) Karcher, she was raised in Sanbornville, was a graduate of Nute High School in Milton, Class of 1968 and McIntosh College in Dover. She resided in Rochester for many years.
Before retirement, she worked as a Bookkeeper, 10 years at Rochester Savings Bank & Trust Company, 5 years at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, 10 years at Encore Shoe Co. (Zodiac), 5 years at Cabletron/Enterasys Systems and 13 years with the Town of Milton.
She enjoyed reading and traveling across the United States with bus tours and on airplanes.
Survived by her sister Karen and husband Paul Brodzinski, 2 nieces: Lori A. and husband Michael Hebert, Sherry L. Eastman, a nephew: Duane M. Eastman and his girlfriend Meghan Davis, a grand niece Amanda R. Hebert and her partner Meghan Kelley, a grand nephew Joshua M. Hebert, also many cousins.
