MILTON - Jeffrey R. Hillsgrove, 34, died unexpectedly at his home in Milton on January 3, 2015.

Jeff was born April 1, 1980 and graduated from Marshwood High school in 1998. He was very mechanical, truly a "Jack of all Trades"; anything needing fixing he could fix. He could build houses from the ground up including plumbing, heating, electrical and woodworking (but not drywall, he hated taping!) to repairing any vehicle with any problem you put in front of him and he was beyond generous helping anyone that needed it whether they could afford it or not (just like Dad). He loved working on cars and learning everything he could from his Dad and had a very special bond with his Mother.

His Daughter Kathryn was the light of his life and she adored him just as much as he did her. His Grandmother "Bunky" also holds a very special place in Jeff's heart, he loved doing things around the house for her and his parents fixing faucets, hanging curtain rods, cleaning furnaces, shoveling snow and anything else he could do to show them his love.

Jeff enjoyed spending time with his partner Cora Soucy and his friend Jen Whitehouse as well as his family; taking Kat to the beach, visiting the zoo, spending time at Bunky's pool, building Legos and celebrating the Holidays.

Jeff lived in Newport News, Va. and Columbia, S.C. for several years before returning home to South Berwick to be closer to his family. Jeff worked as an independent contractor for several local builders and loved staying busy at work.
