DAYTON, Maine - Jeannine N. Gustin, 75, of Dayton died on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, after a short illness. She was born on August 7, 1941, in Rochester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Emile and Beatrice (Couture) Cote. She was educated at the St. Leo School in Gonic, New Hampshire. She married Donald Gustin in 1987.
Jeannine was a seamstress and worked throughout Rochester. One of the places she worked as a seamstress was the Feineman and Smiths Curtain Shops for 25 years. She also worked at the Mayberry and Colby shoe shops in Gonic, New Hampshire, for 30 years.
In 1987, she moved to Dayton. She worked at Fiber Material, Rich's Department Store and ended her working career at Hannaford Supermarket in Saco, retiring in 2003.
She is a member of St. Philip's Church in Lyman and the Most Holy Rosary Church in Rochester.
She was predeceased in 2001, by her husband Donald of 14 years.
She is survived by her daughter Darcy Fournier-Couture, and her husband Steve Sadur of Apopka, Florida, her granddaughter Courtney Couture, her sister Lorraine Metivier and her husband Robert of Bradenton, Florida and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
