ROCHESTER - Jean M. Chasse, 85, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 5, 2022, with her family by her side.
Born in Rutland, Vt., on April 14, 1936, she was the daughter of Albert Lassor and Marie (Rivet) Keene.
Jean loved spring and all the beauty it brought each year. She loved the colors yellow and green, and she would decorate her life in those colors.
She had a passion for country music, and she enjoyed going out to live concerts with her family. George Jones and Kenny Rogers were some of her favorite artists. She once got to meet and chat with Kenny Rogers, and it was one of her fondest memories.
Jean loved playing games, watching game shows and reading. Bingo was one of her favorite games to play. She enjoyed time spent with friends and family.
She is predeceased by her parents, her grandson, Danny, as well as six brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. Chasse, her son, Robert A. Chasse, her daughters, Kathline White, Carol Hasty and her husband, David, Karen Chasse and Terese Hodgdon and her husband, John; her brother, Leonard Lassor and his wife, Dolly; her twin sister, Joan Landry and her husband, Adrien; her sister, Helen Monday and her husband, Harold; her nine grandchildren, Nina, Stuart, Amie, Amber, TJ, Davey, Tim, Becca and Tyler; her thirteen great-grandchildren, Cody, Jackson, Kylie, Branson, Harlow, Cameron, Hannah, Blake, Jack, Grayson, Brady, Knox and Archie; her great-great-grandchild, Parker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
