Historical Society's next meeting set for Monday

LEBANON - The Lebanon Historical Society's September meeting is Monday at the Lebanon Academy.
The meeting will involve a discussion of the society's part in the celebration of Lebanon's 250^th birthday next year.

The plan is to follow as in the past celebrations by having it cover from July 1-3. The society will discuss various ideas about the 250^th and will be seeking members' input before holding public meetings.

October and November meetings will be back at the Martha Sawyer Library.

Meanwhile, the society will also be in attendance at Founders Day celebration at Lebanon Academy on Saturday from 9 to 3. Members will be giving a tour and history of the former school.
