High case counts continue, but hospitalizations stay in check

CONCORD - The recent uptick in COVID cases continued on Sunday with DHHS announcing 70 new positive test results for COVID-19, including 12 under 18 and three from Strafford County.

Locally, DHHS maps show 11 active cases in Rochester, 18 in Dover and 1-4 in Somersworth, Barrington, Strafford, Farmington and Milton.

No new hospitalized cases were reported for a current total of 17.s

DHHS also announced one additional death related to COVID-19, a Merrimack County man over 60.
