PrintROCHESTER - Guy L. Oakes, Jr., 72, of Durgin Drive, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at his residence.
Guy was born on April 3, 1942, in Bangor, Maine; the son of Guy L. Oakes, Sr., and Elizabeth (Kutsin) Oakes.
Guy was a warehouse manager for Robbins Auto. He enjoyed woodworking and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie (Charbonneau) Oakes of Rochester; his son, Guy L. Oakes, III of Dover; his daughter, Anne Marie Stevens and her companion, William Chipman of Rochester; his grandchildren, Aaron, Corey, Tyler and Dylan; Brothers- in-law, Raymond and his wife, Punky Charbonneau of Florida, William and his wife, Ginny Charbonneau of Alton and Michael Jacques; and sisters-in-law, Carol and her husband, Fred Lanoue of Rochester and Lisa Jacques of Somersworth.
