DOVER - The Granite State Choral Society will present two free patriotic concerts May 17 at 7 p.m. and May 18, at 3 p.m. at the historic.

These free events promise a stirring lineup of Broadway favorites and patriotic masterpieces that will honor the strength, courage, and unity of our nation. The Granite State Choral Society's voices will rise in harmony, resonating with gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. What better way to celebrate Armed Forces Day!

Attendees are encouraged to show their support by wearing military uniforms or patriotic attire. It's an opportunity to not just listen but also to sing along in celebration of community. While admission is free, monetary donations will be gratefully accepted to support the Granite State Choral Society's mission of fostering choral music in the region. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to arrive early.

"We are thrilled to present these concerts, honoring those who have served and are serving our nation," said Ken Ballinger, president of the Granite State Choral Society. "We hope the community will join us for an uplifting musical experience."

First Parish Congregational Church is located at 218 Central Ave. in Dover.

The Granite State Choral Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to performing and promoting choral music. The group performs a variety of musical styles, from classical to contemporary, and presents concerts throughout the year.
