Grouse habitat workshop set for Acworth, N.H. in June

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. - The Ruffed Grouse Society, along with the USDA National Resources Conservation Service, New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game, New Hampshire Division of Forests & Lands, and University of New Hampshire (UNH) Cooperative Extension, are hosting a workshop titled "Managing Habitat for Ruffed Grouse (Even if you don't have aspen!)" on June 3 in Acworth, N.H.

The workshop, primarily for professional foresters and wildlife biologists but also open to those interested in managing for ruffed grouse, will include a property tour and field discussion. Discussions will provide information about grouse ecology and habitat management to benefit grouse, other young forest wildlife and mature forest wildlife.
