ROCHESTER - The Governor's Inn kicks off Boogie and Band nights beginning Friday in its newly rejuvenated ballroom.
The inn's Winter Rock Club will feature dancing to a deejay's tunes on Fridays and live music on Saturdays.
The inn has revamped its ballroom for the winter, with a new sit-down bar, large stage, and lighting to set the mood for a club atmosphere.
The Winter Rock Club opens one hour before the music begins, with food and drink available. On Fridays doors open at 7 p.m. with dancing 8-11.
DJ Fridays are free with no cover charge, and will feature dance hits from the '70s to today.
On Saturdays doors open at 6 p.m., with bands on stage form 7-10 and a $5 entry. The opening band this Saturday is Bad Penny performing classic '90s rock and pop.
