Get a taste of what city businesses have to offer - and great food - at Chamber Expo

ROCHESTER - Preparations continue for the Greater Rochester Chamber's much-anticipated Community Expo & Job Fair set for Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Rochester Community Center.

The annual event provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about many businesses as well as existing and future job openings available in the area. Approximately 60 businesses will be featured.

The event major underwriter is Service Credit Union, along with event co-sponsors Amcomm Wireless, Atlantic Broadband, Comcast Business, D.F. Richard Energy, Great Bay Community College, Hervey's Tire Co./Tanya Lee Hervey Photography, Rochester Recreation & Arena, Unitil, Wal*Mart, and Waste Management. The Rochester Voice is a media partner in the event.

The Expo is open to the public and free to attend with many of the exhibitors conducting raffles at their booths. The chamber will be conducting raffles as well.

Also featured will be a "Taste of the Chamber" including hors d'oeuvres and food items provided from member restaurants that will include 110 Grill, The Potter's House Bakery & Café and Revolution Taproom & Grill. A cash bar will be provided by Rochester Main Street. Soda has been generously donated by Seacoast Coca-Cola.
