CONCORD, N.H. –  The U.S. Marshals’ New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in locating fugitive sex offender Brandon Scott Legere, 32, whose last known address was at the Hampshire House, a federal half-way house located on Elm Street in Manchester.

Legere is a registered sex offender who was serving part of a federal sentence for violations of supervised release, stemming from his original conviction and sentence for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Legere is required to register as a sex offender based on a prior conviction for felonious sexual assault on a child under the age of 16 but older than 13, with an age difference of more than three years.

On Wednesday evening, Legere fled the half-way house after being confronted regarding violations of the rules.  Legere was last seen running down Elm Street toward Orange Street, wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and predominantly white sneakers.

Brandon Legere is 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, with very short, shaven brown hair, brown eyes and a thin brown beard. Legere has several tattoos, including;  Left Forearm – “LOYALTY”, Right Forearm – “RESPECT”, Upper Back – “ITALIAN PRIDE”, Mid Back – “RIP JML” with a cross, Chest – “THUG LIFE” with a bullet hole,  and on his Right Chest – “LA FAMILIA” with an Italian family crest.

He could be hiding anywhere in the Manchester or Greenville  area, where he is known to have friends and family. We are hopeful that someone will provide information as to the location of Legere. If you know of the whereabouts or have observed a person that resembles Legere, please contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New Hampshire at (603) 225-1632, send a WEB-TIP, text NHTIP with any information to TIP411, or contact your local police.
