ROCHESTER - The Rochester Veterans Council is planning to host the city's first post-pandemic Memorial Day Parade on May 29, and they are looking for a big turnout from the public and veterans.
Carlton Cooper, a member of the Rochester Memorial Day Parade Committee, said they are looking for sponsors and volunteers, and reaching out to servicemen and women who may want to walk or ride in the parade.
"We are welcoming any area veteran to join us in the parade," Cooper said in a press release sent out this weekend.
