Fest of Trees branch out with Santa, drone photog table and Spaulding artwork

ROCHESTER - Saturday's Festival of Trees had a lot more than trees.

There was also a Santa station where children could tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.

Old St. Nick was accompanied by one of his helpers, a giant candy cane.

Also on hand was renowned drone photographer John Gisis who was selling calendars with some of his most celebrated pictures of the region.

In addition Spaulding art Students had a display up of paintings that were drawn from photographs of some of Studley's Flower Gardens flowers.

The artists were from the Advanced Painting-Early College class at Spaulding High School, who earlier this fall went to Studley's to photograph some of their amazing flowers.

All 18 pieces of artwork will be on exhibit through Dec. 11 during Studley's regular business hours.
