Erin Conroy ... volunteered in animal care organizations

FARMINGTON - Erin Rene Conroy died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born on July 7, 1986 in Dover, and lived in various Seacoast locations throughout her life.

Erin was a fun-loving, caring, and free-spirited daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a talented artist, a loyal friend, and adored all animals. You could make the argument she loved animals more than people.

Growing up, Erin spent a lot of time with her siblings and cousins, splashing in their grandparents' pool, opening gifts together on Christmas, and begging their grandmother to not make everyone sit for yet another group photo.

Erin graduated from Spaulding High School in 2004 and since has volunteered at various animal organizations. If anyone ever needed a good walk and a conversation, Erin was always right there to offer a hand and a ton of kind words (those who knew her know she loved to talk). She always saw the good in people and regularly told her friends and family "not to take life so seriously." She was never one to value materialistic possessions and was extremely understanding of situations where someone might be down and out. Her detailed stories about people we never met, and her infectious laugh and smile, will be sorely missed by all.

Erin is survived by her mother Joanne Conroy and her husband Daniel Turgeon, sister Michaela Evans and her husband Nick, brothers Sean Conroy and his wife Stephanie, Simon Turgeon and his wife Elizabeth, Jesse Turgeon and his wife Caitlyn, grandparents Roger and Mary Conroy and Catherine Cambal-Hayward.

She was predeceased by her father, Michael Conroy, grandparents Lorraine Hayward and Frederick Cambal-Hayward, Aunt Kerry Reed, and Uncle Martin Conroy.

A private service will be held at a later date.
