DOVER - An East Rochester man will spend 12 months at the Strafford County House of Correction after he pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Wednesday in connection with a theft at Walmart earlier this year.

Dressed in olive drab jail garb, Kristopher Henner, 25, of 14 Gina Drive, spoke clearly and calmly as he admitted his guilt during the brief sentencing.

Henner was indicted in May in the March 30 incident in which he stole items from the Farmington Road store.

The Class B felony he was charged with in May and pleaded guilty to on Wednesday was due to his two prior convictions on similar offenses.

As part of the plea deal, he will remain on probation for two years upon completion of his sentence. He must also undergo any and all treatment and/or counseling as directed by the corrections personnel.
