DOVER - An East Wakefield man has been indicted in the robbery of the Milton Road Shell in Rochester in July.
Jesse Hermonat, 19, of 319 Beverly Hills Drive, is facing up to 7 years in state prison in the incident, which occurred in broad daylight on July 31.
According to the indictment, Hermonat was wearing a mask when he entered the store shortly before noon and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk complied, the robber left the store and fled the scene. No weapon was shown.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been presented to warrant a trial.
