ROCHESTER - Another apparent heroin overdose victim revived by emergency responders was arrested today on drug charges.

Brian Woodman, 29, of 632 Salmon Falls Road, East Rochester, was arrested at his home and charged with felony possession of a controlled drug, heroin, in connection with a Dec. 20 overdose event.

On that day Rochester Police, Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to 1 Waverly St. for a report of a heroin overdose where the male victim was unconscious and not breathing. Officers and EMS revived the victim, a police report stated.

Woodman today was also charged with criminal contempt as he was already out on personal recognizance from a Nov 17 heroin possession arrest.

His bail was set at $500 cash which he posted. Woodman now faces a February court date in Rochester District Court.
