Dover men sentenced by feds to five years in drug trafficking case

CONCORD - A Dover man was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, the U.S. Attorneys Office announced today.

According to a statement released by their office, a New Hampshire State Police trooper conducted a traffic stop on Preston Elliott, 25, in North Hampton, on Dec. 6, 2019, in which they found more than 503 grams of fentanyl in a bag at Elliott's feet.

Elliott also had $1,065 in cash.

He previously pleaded guilty on Nov. 19.
