DOVER - A Dover man has been arrested on a felonious sexual assault charge in connection with an eight-year-old female.
Christopher Nash, 28, of 41 Belknap St. allegedly assaulted the child at a Winter Street residence on Jan. 12.
The Dover Police Department began an investigation the same day, and as a result of information gathered by responding patrol officers and follow-up investigation, detectives obtained a warrant charging Nash. He was arrested without incident at his residence around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Nash was held on $25,000 cash bail and was to be arraigned at 9 a.m. today.
