DOVER - A Rochester man will spend at least two years in state prison after he pleaded guilty today in Strafford County Superior Court to armed robbery during a home invasion at Royal Crest Mobile Home Park in Rochester last year.
Adam Brill Jr., 24, of South Main Street, entered the residence at knifepoint with an accomplice on March 30, 2020, and through a show of knives, intimidation and force, stole $120 from one of the home's three occupants, Strafford County Attorney Tom Velardi said today.
"Brill was known to the occupant," Velardi said, adding it was fortunate no one was injured in the incident.
Velardi said the defense had asked for a deferred sentence, while he wanted the full four-year sentence. The judge split the difference, giving him a two to four years prison sentence eligible for parole after two years.
Velardi credited Rochester Police with good evidence collection lifting a palm print at the point of entry and conducting great interviews of all witnesses.
