ERROL VILLAGE, N.H. - A Rochester motorist is lucky to be alive today after he and a passenger in his car escaped injury in a collision with a moose near Errol Village on Friday.

Joseph Greenman, 26, of Rochester, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado north on Route 16 some two miles south of Errol Village when he struck the animal, said New Hampshire State Police Sgt. Victor G. Muzzey today.

The accident was called in to police around 10:25 p.m.
