Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Newington, N.H., will hold an in-store and online book fair to benefit both Granite State Choral Society and William Allen Elementary School in Rochester on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Granite State Choral Society members will be at Barnes & Noble Bookstore with crafts for the kids and a song or two to brighten up your Friday after work.

GSCS asks that you help them help William Allen School’s Library by purchasing a book from their Wish List.  A portion of your purchase will benefit Granite State as well as allow them to directly donate those books purchased from the wish list to the school for use in the classroom and library.  Vouchers are available online at www.facebook.com/GSChoral, or at Barnes & Noble in Newington on May 30.  Contributors may also purchase books online from May 30 through June 4. For more info go to http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/store/2988.  Bookfair ID# is 11346475.

Now entering into its 40th season, the Granite State Choral Society is a nonauditioned community chorus dedicated to presenting quality choral performances, ranging in styles from classics to Broadway, and to promoting the appreciation of the choral arts.  The members come from all walks of life from age 12 and up, and range from experienced singers to novices just discovering the joys of choral singing. GSCS is a non-profit 501C3 organization.  More information about Granite State Choral Society can be found at www.gschoralsociety.org.
