DOVER - You won't often see this writer taking a picture of food he's reviewing after taking a bite of it, but I wanted to do justice to the amount of chicken salad inside this behemoth of a sandwich I got at the Court Jester inside Strafford County Superior Court.

But before I tell you abut the sandwich, I have to tell you about dessert, a piece of Key Lime pie that took me back to Pirate's Alley, a little nook at the south end of Duval Street in Key West where I had my first slice of Key Lime Pie about 55 years ago!

This homemade creation served by Chef Dave figuratively knocked my socks off (most millennials would say literally but they'd be wrong!).

The substantive lime flavor and creamy yet light whipped cream blended to perfection, complemented by the delicously crunchy graham cracker crust.

I got the last piece, and it's not always on the menu, but if it is and you're there, grab it.

Now back to the two-scoop chicken salad sandwich on gluten free toast. The chicken salad was decked out with Craisins, which are dried cranberries. Along with my lettuce and tomato this was a filling lunch.

The bottom line? $6.50 for the sandwich and pie.

Channeling Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chef Dave, I'll be back!

Keep in mind, you'll have to go through a metal detector to get to the Court Jester, which is in the basement of the building.
