ROCHESTER - Rochester Police continue to investigate whether any charges will be filed in connection with a pedestrian accident that occurred last Friday.

Officers got involved around 10 p.m. as they responded to a report of a vehicle striking a man walking in the area of Signal and Portland streets near Blue Seal Feeds.

The victim was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with what were described as serious but nonlife threatening injuries. His condition cannot be confirmed by The Rochester Voice, because his name has not been released.
Meanwhile, the Strafford County Technical Accident Reconstruction Team, which responded to the accident scene to assist in the investigation, has not yet released its report, Rochester Public Information Officer Jeremy Aucoin said on Thursday.

"We will not conclude if there are any charges until the TAR Team completes their investigation," he said.
