Betty Dube ... enjoyed shopping at Chico's; at 88

DOVER - Betty Dube, 88, died July 3, 2023, in Dover, surrounded by her children following a period of declining health. She was born in Hickman, Tenn., on July 13, 1934, the daughter of Barry c and Lillie D. (Winfree) Winfree.

Betty worked for 34 years as a customer service representative for General Electric. After retiring she worked in the jewelry department at Service Merchandise and then later in the jewelry department at T.J. Maxx. Her favorite thing to do was to go shopping at Chico's in Kittery, Maine.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Dube, her sisters, Louise, Flora Lee, Katherine and brothers, J.W., Britt and Jerry.

Members of her family include son, Jerry Dube, daughter, Pamela Healey and husband Brian. Grandchildren, Nicolas Freeman and partner Andrea Underwood, Christopher Freeman, Jared Sowell and wife Mandy, and Patrick Sowell and fiancé Sharissa Stout, also many nieces and nephews.
