DOVER - Benjamin E. Witham, 84 of Dover, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Ben was a graduate of Dover High School, and proudly served in the Air Force, as well as the Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire Air National Guard for over twenty-five years. Ben worked for IBM for many years prior to retiring and traveling the country with his beloved wife, Marcia.

Ben was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Mildred (Bingham) Witham, and his six siblings. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marcia (Lee) Witham, his children, Benjamin Witham (Teresa Mundy) of Dover and Laurie Burkhead of Rome, Georgia, three grandchildren, Michael (Kristin Shaw), Thomas, and Nicole Witham, two great grandchildren, Brayden and Olivia Witham, and many dear relatives, including his sisters-in-law, Pat Lee and Paula Jones, both of whom spent many hours in his company over the last few weeks, celebrating his life with stories and laughter.

Ben will be greatly missed by all, not the least of which is his cherished dog, Isabelle. The family would like to give special thanks to Wentworth Home Care and Hospice who helped to fill the last few months of Ben's life with smiles and sunshine.
