Bayton Preston ... retired from Prime Tanning; at 93

Bayton Preston, "AKA Sarge" (Retired USAF MSGT), 93, died peacefully at home on Friday March 4th, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Wilkinsburg, Pa., on February 11th, 1929, to Beatrice Preston and G. Bayton Anderson.

After joining the service in 1950, he met his wife, Eveline, in France and were married for 53 years. They had six children and traveled throughout the United States during his military career. He retired a 26 year veteran, serving during both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He then retired after his second career at Prime Tanning with 20 plus years.

Bayton was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice R. Preston and G. Bayton Anderson and his daughter Chrystal Katleen Brooks.

Survived by his two other daughters, Linda May McKinnon and husband Jeffrey, and Sandra Lee Strobel and husband David. Survived also by his three sons, Noel Vincent Preston; Scott Eric Preston and wife Rhonda; and Todd Christopher Preston. He is also survived by many grand and great grandchildren. The family would also like to thank Beth Stewart for her endless compassion and care of our father.
