Barrington woman nabbed in Rochester DWI

ROCHESTER - A Barrington woman was arrested for drunken driving on Sunday after the SUV she was driving went off the road on Washington Street, rolled over and settled in a ditch.

Stacia St. Laurent, 42 of Barrington, N.H., was arrested and charged with DWI.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. when police say St. Laurent's Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound on Washington Street, left the roadway, and rolled into a large tree. The vehicle suffered significant damage and was towed from the scene.

St. Laurent suffered what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries and was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital by Frisbie EMS.

She was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment date set for next week.
