Andrea Marie Fountain, 50, earned her angel wings after a seven-year excruciating and hard-fought battle with cancer. She grew up in Gonic, a true Gonician, attending Gonic, Rochester schools and UNH. She could call any body of water her home, the ocean, the lake, a pool as long as she was in it or paddle boarding, she was happy. She was a 1 cup of coffee, "I don't really like bread" kind of girl. However, if you plopped her on a tropical island, she'd have two cups of coffee and truly loved the fresh bread. Andie was a strong and a fierce advocate for herself and made sure that everyone did the same! Andie never took a day for granted and lived life to the fullest and wanted all of us to follow suit. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Geoff Fountain of South Berwick, Maine, as well as her mother-in-law Jeannine Fountain, Geoff's 5 siblings and their families, her mother Teri Lachance Hurley of Gonic, her father John Hurley of Rochester, her sister Jess and brother-in-law Ryan McNamara of Newmarket and her nephew and niece Shea and Iris McNamara. She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Bernadette (Leo) Scarponi, Normand (Sylvia) Lachance of Rochester, Jo-Ann McCabe of Somersworth, and many cousins. She is survived by her BFF, Aimee Young and her husband Matthew and son Lucien of Madbury. She was predeceased by her grandparents Sydney and Hazel Hurley, John D and Maria Lachance and her aunt and uncle Roberta and John J. Lachance, and Uncle Robert McCabe. Andie had a beautiful smile, was brave, fierce, loving, funny, smart, compassionate and one amazing Wonder Woman. These attributes among many others, cancer can't take away. Every day is a good day! - Andrea Marie Fountain.
