HAMPTON - The man suspected of shooting two people in Hampton before committing suicide when police sought to arrest him has now been identified as Naval personnel residing in New Hampshire.
Tyshawn Cooper, 21, earlier identiifed only as a South Carolina man, currently holds the rank of Information Systems Technician Submarine Network Second Class and was assigned to the USS Hampton, which is currently undergoing maintenance at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
