More than 50 charged in melee at Hampton Beach, including felony arrests for riot

HAMPTON - Dozens were arrested after multiple fights occurred amid large crowds at Hampton Beach on Tuesday.
Prior to the melee New Hampshire State Police were requested to assist members of the Hampton Police Department with a large-crowd event, which had been advertised on social media. Uniformed patrol Troopers and supervisors, as well as members of the Special Events Response Team and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Units, responded.
The altercations unfolded around 4 p.m. as a rainstorm...
