3 Rochester officers honored for saving woman's life

ROCHESTER - Three city police officers were hailed as heroes during Wednesday's Police Commission meeting for saving the life of an unresponsive woman in March.

Lt. Anthony Bossi, Patrolman John Gantert, and Patrolman Justin Seckendorf were recognized for their heroic actions and quick thinking when they responded to the call and began CPR on a woman at a Central Avenue address on March 11.

EMS personnel soon arrived on scene and the woman regained consciousness before being taken to Frisibie Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
