Your Voice: Thanks for your votes of confidence

This is a message of gratitude to all those folks who mailed in an absentee ballot or turned out to vote on June 10th.  Being a Lebanon native and lifelong resident of Lower Guinea Rd., I wish to express my very sincere appreciation to those who voted for me as their new Selectman.  During the last few months, I met many people while criss-crossing the highway and side roads of Lebanon to discuss my ideas for improving our community.  I may not have connected with everyone, in person, so let me take this opportunity to reiterate my reasons for seeking the Selectman’s office.  

          My aim is to earnestly uphold my objectives to:

• * Be attentive in hearing the concerns of local residents and make responses to them impartially and equitably.
• * Attempt to truly pay attention to committee recommendations and then pass those along to you, the public, in a straightforward way.
• * Encourage all Lebanon personnel to feel comfortable in making beneficial suggestions for operations in any department of our town.
• * Comply with all ordinances and protections stipulated by Lebanon regulations along with the state of Maine's statutes.
• * Endeavor to control the cost of living for Lebanon residents of every age.
• * Work at being accessible to everyone in our town.

So, as I said in the conversations during my grassroots campaign, if you have a question or concern about situations in our great little town of Lebanon, get in touch! Thank you again for your votes of confidence.
