ROCHESTER - Treffle J. Turgeon, Jr., 72, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health.
Treffle was born in Rochester on June 21, 1942, the son of Treffle J. and Beatrice (Wallace) Turgeon Sr. and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. He was a retiree form the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard and was a former employee at the Rochester Manor for 18 years. He was an avid Boston Sports Teams fan and enjoyed reading, traveling and crossword puzzles.
Surviving member of the family include: his wife of 47 years, Jean (Lavoice) Turgeon of Rochester, N.H., one son, Jeffrey Turgeon and his wife Judy of Rochester, N.H., one daughter, Jennifer Turgeon of Rochester, N.H., two grandchildren, Damon Rose and Jenna Slater, a special niece, Shari Laurion and her fiancé Bob Baker and several cousins.
