ROCHESTER - Rochester Opera House will hold auditions for its upcoming production of Chicago on Sept. 27 and 28 from 6-10 p.m. with callbacks on Sept. 29.

Auditions will take place at the Governor's Inn in Rochester.

The show will be produced by Anthony Ejarque, and directed by Steve Small, with musical direction by Kathy Fink.

Show dates are Jan. 14-31 with rehearsals beginning on Nov.16, and will take place on Sunday-Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

The producers are seeking adults and teens age 17 and older. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a song from a musical and should bring their music in a stiff 3-ring binder.

It should be piano/vocal music, not a lead sheet or simplified version. A pianist will be provided. There will be a dance call, so everyone should dress appropriately.

Auditioners are asked to provide a recent headshot and resume if available.

For more information and to schedule an audition, please contact Production Manager Sue Roy at: szqcrafty@gmail.com or call her at: 603-973-2116. Adults will be paid a stipend. The Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall at 31 Wakefield St, Rochester, NH. www.rochesteroperahouse.org.
