DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester mother and her son both face September arraignments on drug charges after being arrested earlier this month by the newly formed Strafford County Drug Task Force.

Dana Goodrow, 20, of 99 Washington St., was charged Aug. 6 with felony possession of a controlled drug. According to criminal complaints he was in possession of marijuana, cocaine, five grams of heroin and the anti-anxiety prescription drug Lorazepan. Police also seized $1,858 in cash.

A day later, on Aug. 7, the task force arrested Goodrow’s mother, Kristine Goodrow, 45, also of 99 Washington St., and charged her with felony possession after finding her with methamphetamine.

Both mother and son were released on personal recognizance pending arraignments next month, his on the 16th, hers on the 29th.

Strafford County Sheriff David G. Dubois deferred comment last week on whether the pair’s drug activity was in concert or whether they were acting separately, saying he didn’t want to jeopardize the case as it is now in the hands of prosecutors.

The Stafford County Drug Task Force was created earlier this summer and works in cooperation with local police to combat the distribution and abuse of illegal drugs throughout the county.
