LEBANON - Robert William Bruyere, 62, of Lebanon died unexpectedly on April 13, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

Robert was born on November 10, 1951 to Paul A. and Dorothy M. (Cullen) Bruyere in Dover, New Hampshire where he grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Dover High School in 1969. He attended RETS (Radio Electronic Television School, Inc.) graduating in 1971, in Boston, Mass. Following graduation he served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973.

Robert was a member of Sons of The American Revolution; he was also an avid stamp collector and a member of the York County Stamp Club. He was very involved with Victims, Inc, a charitable organization in East Rochester, for many years. Most people who knew Bob were greeted with a smile, good conversation, and a helping hand to those in need. He will truly be missed.

Surviving are wife, Janet (Steele) Bruyere of Lebanon, Maine; two sons; Andrew Witham Bruyere of Lebanon and William Jesse Bruyere and his fiancee Micheal Anne Smith of Lebanon; a daughter, Christina Aderena Bruyere of Springvale; a brother, Paul A. Bruyere of Clearwater, Fla.; three sisters: Judith Bruyere Coyman of Dover, Annette (Bruyere) Pierce of Clearwater, Fla. and Sally (Bruyere) Cote of Dover; many nieces and nephews and several beloved grandchildren.
