Rawson chosen to fill interim selectman's slot

MILTON - Milton resident Andrew Rawson was appointed on Monday to fill the interim selectman’s slot vacated by the sudden resignation of former selectman Bob Bridges last month.

Rawson, who has lived in Milton for about 15 years, will stand in as Bridge’s replacement until town elections next March.

Selectmen Mike Beaulieu and Tom Gray made the announcement during Monday’s regularly scheduled selectmen’s meeting.

Gray had said as recently as Saturday that selectmen had not made their decision and Town Administrator Liz Dionne on Monday said the same.
